Hospital Central is a Spanish television series that follows the professional and personal lives of the staff of the fictitious Hospital Central in Madrid. The series started in 2000 and is still on the air today in its 18th season, with a big success.During these eight years, Hospital Central also got some well-known actors and artists in Spain to do take on guest starring roles.

Description of the principal actors:

-Dr Vilches: he is a very serious man but he loves his work. Always he is angry with the whole hospital but he is a good doctor and everybody love him.

-Dra Macarena: she is the director of the hospital and this one married a nurse. She is the only pediatrician of the hospital, is very nice and has several children.

- Ester: she is the boss of nurses and the wife of Dra Macarena. It is very nice, hard-working and very handsome.

-Dr Hector: he is an Argentine young person, realizes the operations of the hospital and his girlfriend is a nurse. He has a transplanted heart because he was attacked by a chief

-Dr. Miguel Seró: a married pediatrician who had an affair with Andrea but ultimately returned to his wife and daughter.

I recommend totally this series if you like the hospital histories,so it is about the relations of friendship of the doctors, because of it is very funny and interesting. The series has a lot of special effects and there is a good result: a series of success of many years ago.

Aida and Two and a half men

It's Spanish humour serie.

PLOT.- It's about Aida's life and family, a woman, who lives in a small flat, in a poor neighbourhood.

MAIN CHARACTERS

AIDA.- She is a cleaner stairs, her life is difficult, because her husband is in prison and she has two children. So she had to go to live with her mother and her brother to her old neighbourhood.

LORE.- Aida's daughter, she is a teenager who we have seen growing in the serie, she only thinks of men and parties, and she hates studies.

JONATHAN.- Aida's son, he is a rebel boy and as her sister doesn't like studying today he is a troubled youth, but of good heart.

LUISMA.- Aida's brother. He is very funny, maybe a little crazy, he was a drug addict and now works as a street sweeper. A lot of people think that he is the best of the series.

EUGENIA.- Aida's mother. She loves food, she is not very polite, and when she was young, she worked in a cabaret.

MAURICIO.- He has a bar, he is racist he is always taking advantage of their workers and his passions are Real Madrid and women. He is the funniest for me.

OTHERS CHARACTERS.- Chema, Fidel.

In my opinion, is a very funny series, the chapters always woke me laugh and everyday there are a surprise. The humour isn't very intelligent but some characters are fantastic.

TWO AND A HALF MEN

It's American humour serie

The serie is about a single named Charlie, who has a life of luxury as his Malibu beach house that suddenly is affected by the arrival of his brother Alan, who is split up from this wife Judit, he went to Charlie's house, because Alan has everything in his divorce.

CHARACTERS

CHARLIE.- He lives in Malibu, with his brother and nephew Jake who lives with his uncle on Saturdays and Sundays. He has a housekeeper named Berta and a neighbour named Rose, he has a wild lifestyle he's always with women, but he has afraid of commitment. He is musician, and he works making music of the television ad.

ALAN.- He is a shy man with the women he is the opposite to his brother. He works as quiroplastico.

JAKE.- Is a boy that his parents gives him all that he wants. His mother thinks that Charlie is a bad influence by him, but his uncle will give him life lessons that he will not learn at the school.

In my opinions, is a good serie but I prefer Spanish series, I think there are better than that American series, although this is enough good.

This series is very instructive, you can learn about medicine, doctor’s work in teams and fight to save the lives of patients, there are also relationships, complicated and in reality, the series has humor, it's like a comedy but with a serious tone, I advise you to see.

THE WIRE

Script:

The Wire shows a realistic vision about Baltimore’s life, specially focus on drug trafficking. A lot of its characters have been based on real persons of Baltimore in USA. Few secondary actors are amateurs who perform their own character in the real life because they considerer that the story is so real that they want to participate in it.

The central subject in the development of series is the use of electronic vigilance technologies for Police, thanks to it its title The Wire (La Escucha in Spanish). This technologies appear reflected in both faces of Law, in a way systems and techniques used for criminals to avoid vigilance and in the other way systems used by Police.

Series starts with the links between two apparently opposite worlds and develops gradually strong cross between situations and characters of the two antagonist faces of society. Good and Evil faces of world are together because they need theirs to exist. To be in a face or in the other face of the line is often a perspective thing.

Series was finished in 2008 and all the sessions are focused on a different aspect of Baltimore although always with a common theme.

First session is focused on fight between Police and drug dealers in the city. Second session is focused in Baltimore’s port, contraband and problems about port union. Third session is focused in politicians, fight for power and social leader. Fourth session is focused in educative system and children’s education in Baltimore’s poor areas. Fifth and last session tell about Baltimore’s media.

Characters

- Detective “Jimmy” McNulty: McNulty joined the police department after a year of college in Baltimore. In his first few years in the Baltimore’s Department Police he was patrolman in the Western District under the command of Major Colvin. After helping Detective Ray Cole in solving a homicide, he was promoted to detective and assigned to the homicide unit where he was partnered with Bunk Moreland.

- Avon Barksdale: Avon is the boss of drug business in the Western Baltimore’s District and he is assisted by his childhood friend Stringer Bell . Below Bell was a huge organization of drug dealers. He is interested only in controlling the drug trade in West Baltimore, accepting nothing less than absolute power, believing that control of territory is the key to this objective. The problem is that he’s not very clever.

-Russell "Stringer" Bell: is an intelligent planner and businessman in the drug world of Baltimore. Bell helps Barksdale to decide about his economic decisions. In fact, Bell is an Economic’ student in the University who was recruited for Barksdeal’s band.

- Charlie (Charlie Sheen), a jingle composer who lives in a villa near the beach in California. He always dresses in shorts and every night he sleeps with a distinct tart. He is the opposite of Alan, his brotther. They have a mother who is quite ida, and a housekeeper who has a impressive verbiage and a crazy neighbor and sexually uninhibited is a stalker cream.

- Alan (J on Cryer) is the ugly brother, serious and responsible that He is unable to educate his chubby son as he would li ke, because after his divorce from overbearing and unbearable Judith, is forced to go live with his playboy brother.

Script:

The series stars the famous actor Charlie Sheen. A comedy in which three men from two different generations trying to grow up and learn what it means to be a man. Based learning and spiced with stories of men and women, love, sex, dating, divorce and ... mothers.

But the story does not end here, let alone, to complicate matters further, we found a bunch of eccentric characters, such as self-centered and controlling mother of Charlie and Alan, Evelyn (Holland Taylor), former wife of Alan , Judith (Marin Hinkle), who just found their identity, Rose (Melanie Lynskey), a very attractive woman, unconventional and possibly a little crazy, a neighbor of Charlie, who had a brief affair and who is determined to stay in your life the way it is needed, and Berta (Conchata Ferrell), the dominant housekeeper Charlie.

Opinion:

I think this series is fantastic. In my opinion, "Two and a Half Men"is a comic series that involves, although the series is predictable and without grace monent. Sometimes I wait to advertising break to get up off the Sofa.

No is hardly surprising that this magnifies series has gained many awards and is made out in many countries. Have emitted seven periods of this series, now issues the number eight. It seems that they will not give more because they have fired one of the principal actors. I will give much trouble.

In contrast to the rest of the group (a main source of humor), Penny is not particularly intellectually gifted or savvy in a specific technical field, but she has great social skills and a lot of knowledge about pop culture. Penny is messy and disorganized, but appears to like it that way. After several relationships with tall, handsome but few intelligent, just having a relationship with Leonard. is always harassed by Howard. The recommendation:

- Hello friends! I just want to recommend the series that I liked The big bang theory, because to talk about new sitcoms, it seems that new chapters will be front and center of the girls and even the girlfriend of Wolowitz render him independent.

Cuéntame is based on the American series called “The Wonder Years”, which shares a lot of points in common with Cuéntame. For example, in both series is there a character who tells the story in the form of a voice in off, in the context of a lot of years after. In the case of “Cuéntame”, the narrator is the youngest son, Carlos. The name of the series is based on a very popular song of the seventies, singed by Ana Belen (In fact, it is the song which sounds in the opening of the series). The plot starts in 1968, in the last years of the Franco’s dictatorship, and in this moment is telling the transition to democrazy. The series productor has said it will end telling the time period known as “la movida madrileña”, in the eighties.

WHY WOULD DOU RECOMMEND THIS SERIES?
I recommend this series because is very funny, and you can see in it some of the best Spanish actors, like Imanol Arias, Juan Echanove or Tony Leblanc. In my opinion, each period of time has his own personality and essence, and Cuéntame is able to show perfectly each essence of each period of time in our history.
