Review:
The story begins in 2030, where Ted Mosby tells his children the story
before he met his mother. Other main characters are
Ted´s friends.
The series is a sitcom which tells the story of Ted and his friends. History
main finding Ted's future wife, is crisscrossed with stories
shorter than resort to his friends and him, and characters appear and disappear in a fewchapters.
Ted’s friends have a very important role in his life and through stories and anecdotes
that happen in the series we see their close relationship.
Most stories are pass in the apartment of Marshall and Lily and in the bar that under
their building where they usually meet for years.
Today is the 6 th season and still not know the mother of Ted's children.
Character:
Ted Mosby is the protagonist of the series. He is architect and although he didn’t
succeed in his profession finally he finds a job as a teacher to a university that is where
he meets his future wife.
Marshall is the husband of Lily. A lawyer by profession he dreamed of protecting the
environment, but finally he works as a lawyer in the company of Barney.
Lily is a teacher in a nursery, although her dream was be a painter. She is a person very manipulative and busybody.
Robin is the canadian of the group. She is reporter and works for a news channel. She
had a relationship with Ted and then with Barney.
Barney works to the Goliath National Bank althoug anybody know what he does there.
He is a ladies’ man and doesn’t want a stable relationship. He has made many famous
phrases like “Suit up!”, “It’s gonna be legendary”, “awesome”, etc.
Would you recommend it?
I find it really entertaining series, a funny sitcom that shows you archetypes we can all find in our own friendships and gives result in a close series. After watching it you feel like having a bar where you can meet with friends as they do in the series. Is able to reach the viewer with common stories adorned with a comical aspect to give a desirable result.
