"Historias para no dormir"


"Historias para no dormir" was a spanish television series, written and directed by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador. It ran on TVE from 1966 to 1982.
29 Episodes divided in 3 seasons, which tackle the genre of terror, with short independents stories.

Of all the episodes, deserve a special mention “El muñeco” based en a story de Henry James, “El cuervo”, which recreates the life of Edgar Allan Poe and “El televisor” which deals an obsessing individual to the television.

The serie had a important cast to actors which represented a great variety of roles, between they, it is worth mentioning: the director's father: Narciso Ibáñez Menta, and actors as well-known as: Lola Lemos, Manuel Galiana, Carlos Larrañaga, Lola Herrera, the siblings Irene y Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, ...

The series won three awards:
> Golden Nymph to best script in the Montecarlo’s Festival of Television in 1967 by "El asfalto".
> Award of critic to best program foreing in the Buenos Aires’s Festival.
> Award "Ondas" to best author 1969: Ibáñez Serrador.


Why Would you recommend this series?
I recommend this series Because it is one of the best that I've seen. I slept with fear in the body. All the films I saw that I remember, they have mystery and intrigue. Narciso Ibañez Serrador to a humorous parody and he then put a horror movie.
